Husky Cargo Floor Liner Review - 2008 Mercury Mariner

All right, today on a 2008 Mercury Mariner, we're going to show you Husky Liner's classic custom cargo liner in gray, part number HL23142. Constructed from a thermal plastic material which is actually resistant to oil, gas and even battery acid. We have it in the back for a Mariner here and one thing to note, we have ours just out of the box, basically with it sit down to sunk for about 10 minutes and this is what it looks like when it fits in there. Now, right off the bat you'll see that it doesn't quite match the edges or contour of the vehicle. Once it gets completely warmed up it will actually mold itself to the shape of the vehicle a little bit better than what it is now. First off, this has got a raised edge just like this, it goes all around the perimeter of the floor liner. It also matches up to the contour of the panel on the interior here. You'll notice it doesn't come all the way through because it does accommodate for plastic here as well, so it actually follows the line of the carpet. more

WeatherTech Cargo Floor Liner Review - 2008 Mercury Mariner

Today in this 2008 Mercury Mariner we're going to show you the WeatherTech Cargo Liner in black, part number WT40197. This is also available as tan, as part number WT41197 and gray, as part number WT42197. All right, this is what it looks like when it's laying in the back of a cargo area of a Mariner. You'll notice right off the batt it has full coverage from the back seats up to the threshold here and also as far as you can go from left to right. One thing to know about a cargo liner is that we just took this out of the box about 10 minutes ago and let it sit in the sun. It's going to be a little bit away from the edge of the plastic here but already, you can tell how it wants to mold itself and match the shape of a vehicle. On this vehicle, the carpeting comes right to here but this liner actually provides protection up toward the plastic here, as well. It also fits up into the corner up behind the panel here, up by the backseat. You'll notice it has a raised inaudible 00:58 that goes all the way around the perimeter of the cargo liner. more
